‘Street Shofar’ wails in DUMBO for Rosh Hashanah

The wailing cry of the shofar was heard over the DUMBO shoreline Wednesday afternoon as a group affiliated with the Jewish organization IKAR filmed the Brooklyn installment of “Street Shofar” in time for the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah. According to IKAR, “The shofar blast is a call to wake up to what’s possible for ourselves and our world this Jewish New Year.” Their YouTube site lists Michael Brous as “Sexy Shofar Man.” The videos are directed by Isaac Feder.
