The FDNY says 11 people have been injured, some of them critically, in a Brooklyn residential fire.

The fire was reported around 9:15 a.m. Thursday in a three-story brownstone at 375 Chauncey Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant. According to the Fire Department, four people were critically injured, two seriously injured, and the rest had minor injuries. Twenty-five units with 106 firefighters responded. The fire was declared under control by 10:03 a.m.

Fire marshals were investigating the cause, according to a Fire Department spokesman. According to the Daily News, some local residents believe the fire may have been set by a disturbed woman who had a relationship with a resident who moved out more than a year ago.
