The G train came back with limited service today, but the major portion of the L train, as of today, is still not in service. However, the MTA yesterday finally finished pumping water out of its tunnels. The problem was the large amount of salt water in its underground tubes. This photo, taken Monday, shows employees operating a pump train in the L’s route under the East River.
