Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov and Bruce Ratner discussed selling a portion of the Nets basketball franchise and the Barclays Center arena to Guggenheim Sports and Entertainment Assets, owners of baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers, according to a report from NetsDaily.

The website cited multiple sources saying that Prokohorov would still maintain control of the team and Ratner control of the arena. Prokhorov owns 80% of the Nets franchise and 45% of the Barclays Center, with Ratner owning the rest of the team and the popular entertainment venue, according to the report.

Sources told NetsDaily that Guggenheim executive Todd Boehly went to Moscow this week to engage in discussions with Prokhorov, Ratner, and Nets and Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark. In the discussions, the team was valued at $1.7 billion and the arena valued at $1.1 billion, the online article said.
