Halloween fun in Brooklyn Oct. 25-26
Haunted Halloween Carnival in Park Slope, Carroll Park Costume Parade and More
Halloween gets off to an early start this weekend with the return of a number of beloved Brooklyn events for kids and adults.
Puppetry Arts New York will host its 10th Annual Haunted Halloween Carnival on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. rain or shine at the 1st Street Recreation Center (1st St between 4th and 3rd avenues) in Park Slope.
R2- D2 along with the 501st and Rebel Legions Star Wars characters Darth Vader, Stormtroopers and Jedi Knights will be on site during the carnival. A costume contest will take place every hour, with a final “Overall Winner” contest with a celebrity judge: Tuffy Tiger. The first 200 kids receive a free gift bag filled with goodies.
Puppetry Arts, a Brooklyn-based non-profit, welcomes everyone to come join in the spooktacular fun! Admission is free, with small fees for crafts and games, haunted house and bounce house and tons of free activities.
