Downtown Brooklyn’s Supreme Court and Bankruptcy Court were the backdrops for a scene being filmed on Tuesday for the FOX series “Gotham.”

The show depicts Commissioner James Gordon’s rise in crime-ridden Gotham City in the years before Batman’s arrival, and his relationship with Bruce Wayne as a young boy.

The segment being filmed on Tuesday featured Victoria Cartagena (“Stll Alice,” “Hungry Hearts,” “Elementary”), who plays Det. Renee Montoya.

The set consisted mainly of the interior of a car surrounded by cameras, with a handful of background actors – almost indistinguishable from Downtown Brooklyn’s usual denizens — stepping briskly past the rear of the vehicle.

While most spectators quietly watched the filming, one passerby walked through the middle of the set yelling that she had been “brainwashed.”

“Gotham” stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, and Jada Pinkett Smith as gang boss Fish Mooney.
