Poly Prep Country Day School is bringing in some Oscar-style star power to help raise funds for its educational diversity program.

The Academy Award-winning songwriting team of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who wrote the songs for the Disney film “Frozen,” will star in a benefit called “Show & Tell” at Brooklyn College’s Walt Whitman Theater on Nov. 9, at 2 p.m.

The couple won the Best Original Song Oscar this year for “Let It Go,” the mega-hit from “Frozen.”

The goal of the benefit is to raise funds to enable Poly Prep to continue its mission of increasing student diversity at the school, according to a statement from the school. Poly Prep is a nursery-to-12th grade independent school founded in 1854. It operates on two campuses in Bay Ridge and Park Slope.

“Show & Tell” is geared to children ages 5 and older, and for adults who love musicals, according to Poly Prep. The show will offer a fun and music-filled hour featuring the Lopez couple’s behind-the-scenes stories about the making of their hit “Frozen.” The talented duo will perform songs from the movie along with their special guests: Broadway performer Kerry Butler; her husband and well-known puppeteer Joey Mazzarino; and Mazzarino’s “friend,” Olaf, the Snowman.

Childcare will be available at the theater for families who need it.

Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who have been married since 2003, have two young daughters.

In April, the couple was named to Time magazine’s list of the “100 Most Influential People” in the artist category.

In addition to “Frozen,” Robert Lopez also wrote the music for the Tony Award-winning show “The Book of Mormon.”

Poly Prep’s “Show & Tell” is the kickoff event to launch the school’s “Campaign for Lower School Diversity,” a fundraising initiative to strengthen racial, ethnic and socioeconomic diversity at Poly’s Lower School (Nursery-Fourth Grade) in Park Slope.

“I couldn’t be more proud of our school’s long-term commitment to diversity and our goal, as part of the school’s strategic planning process, to enhance that diversity by focusing on our Lower School. We are deeply grateful to the Lopezs, and to other parent supporters, for launching our diversity campaign with this fun-and music-filled event,” Headmaster David B. Harman said.
