Best Friends Animal Society presents adoption event at Brooklyn Expo Center

For the first time ever, Best Friends Animal Society’s bi-annual three-day Super Adoption event will be held in New York City at the Brooklyn Expo Center, 79 Franklin St. in Greenpoint. 

Starting on Friday, December 12 and running through Sunday, Dec. 14, more than 800 dogs, cats and bunnies will be available at the pop-up event with adoption fees starting at just $25. Doors open at 11 a.m.every day.

The free happening will feature a festive atmosphere including music, local food trucks, a pet gift fair and giveaways throughout the weekend. Additionally, attendees can expect celebrity visits from Santa, Marnie the dog, Edie Falco, Bernadette Peters, Emma Kenny (“Shameless”), Amir Arison (“The Blacklist”), David Mazouz (“Gotham”), John Doman (“Gotham”), Jake Robinson (“Odyssey”), and Nate Mooney (“Odyssey”), and others to be announced.

 

Super Adoption Hours

Friday, Dec. 12: 11am – 7pm

Saturday, Dec.  13: 11am – 7pm

Sunday, Dec.  14: 11am – 4pm
