Brooklyn-based progressive rock group to play final 2014 show Dec. 4
Brooklyn-based art/progressive rock group Vajra is heating up radio with its blend of dark, melodic, progressive rock and Eastern Indian fusion. The band will play its final show for the year on Dec. 4 at The Bowery Electric in the East Village.
“People are saying they are sick of hearing the same cookie cutter music on the radio. They want something different — unique. Our music is definitely not cookie cutter,” says band founder and vocalist Annamaria Pinna.
“Blind” (Blood Mix) was added to SiriusXM’s hard rock Octane Channel over the summer and is now in rotation at terrestrial commercial rock stations, including KAZY/Cheyenne, KFML/Little Falls, KHAD/Upton and KHWL/Altus.
