Giraldo Zacarias lives with his 12 year old son in an apartment from City Hall Housing and Land Company (EMVS) and he accumulated a large debt as he and his ex-wife could not afford to pay rent as he lost his job. The state company sold the apartment to an investor group who is now demanding their eviction. EMVS is a state company with an aim to give housing solutions for people in need. The eviction was postponed till Feb. 9, 2015.
