Barclays Center forms Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Advisory Board

Barclays Center has formed the Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Advisory Board, a group of nearly 30 top sports, entertainment, and media industry executives, as well as entertainment personalities. Created by Brett Yormark, CEO of Barclays Center, and Charlie Walk, Executive Vice President of Republic Records at Universal Music Group, the Advisory Board will contribute to the programming strategy and direction for Barclays Center, the soon to be recreated Nassau Coliseum, and future venues.

In addition to sharing their overall expertise, the Advisory Board members will be part of the planning for many upcoming major Barclays Center events, including NBA All-Star 2015, the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament, the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, and other world-class events to be announced soon.

That’s why we have established an elite group from the sports and entertainment industry to share their expertise to further develop Barclays Center as a global destination, while also contributing to the launch and future of Nassau Coliseum.”
