Junior’s selling iconic Flatbush Avenue location
Cheesecake king to open other Brooklyn location
Junior’s is selling its iconic flagship location at the corner of DeKalb Avenue and Flatbush Avenue Extension that’s been a Brooklyn landmark since it opened in 1950, according to multiple published reports. Junior’s will make way for a condo developer.
PIX 11 reports that Junior’s will try to occupy a floor of the to-be-built luxury building that will take the space and will try to find another space to move to in the interim, meaning there could be two Junior’s locations in the future. But for now, it’s the end of a symbolic era to say the least.
