Brooklyn Boys & Girls Club receives book donations from local McDonald's owner

On Friday, local McDonald’s Owner/Operator Elaine Diekmann was joined by Ronald McDonald at the Navy Yard Boys & Girls Club, where they donated 600 Happy Meal Books for children ages 6-9 who are learning how to read.

The Happy Meal books include four titles:  The Goat Who Ate Everything, Doddi the Dodo Goes to Orlando, Deanna’s Big Dreams and Ant Can’t. Each book features animals that eat right and lead active lifestyles.

Local McDonald’s Owner/Operator Elaine Diekmann  along with Ronald McDonald read to the children of the Navy Yard Boys & Girls Club. The McDonald’s Owner/Operator donated 600 Happy Meal books to the clubhouse for children ages 6-9 who are learning how to read.
