New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (dih BLAH’-zee-oh) has added three more senior staff members to his administration.

De Blasio, a Democrat, on Friday named Steve Banks as the head of the Human Resources Administration.

Banks was the lead attorney for the Legal Aid Society. From that position, he frequently sued the city and pestered previous mayors.

He also ran against de Blasio for the same open Brooklyn city council seat in 2001. De Blasio won.

Nisha Agarwal will be commissioner for the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs. Agarwal has worked as a public interest lawyer and immigration rights activist.

Lorraine Grillo was reappointed as president of the School Construction Authority. She has led the construction authority since 2010, when she was appointed by ex-Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
