Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and IFC have announced the lineup for the March installment of “Get It Out There: Comedy by BAM & IFC.” Beginning at 9 p.m. (bar opens at 8 p.m.) on Thursday, March 27 in BAMcafé (30 Lafayette Ave in Fort Greene), the event features Todd Barry (“Late Show with David Letterman”), Maeve Higgins (Adelaide Fringe Festival), and Ted Alexandro (“Jimmy Kimmel Live”). Curated by Caroline Creaghead (Creaghead & Company), the night will be hosted by Eli Yudin (creator of @NotTildaSwinton).

This monthly comedy showcase—free and open to the public—encourages comics to experiment with humor by testing out fresh material and probing the depths of their twisted souls for new forms of funny. Past guests have included Sarah Silverman, Reggie Watts, Judah Friedlander and Jon Glaser, with surprise guests dropping in at several events. For more information, visit www.ifc.com/get-it-out-there.

“Get It Out There” returns on April 24, May 29, and June 12 with a rotating roster of comedians.
