The coolest place to watch construction work in East Williamsburg is at 125 Leonard St. Workers are up in the air messing with steel beams above the construction fence, in full view of passersby.
You don’t have to peek through the tiny holes in the fence to see what’s going on.
Also, the building across the street has benches and chairs out on the sidewalk, so you can sit for a bit to keep an eye on the progress of the residential building being constructed there.
