Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina says New York City will find seats for 194 charter school students who aren’t getting the building they were originally promised.

Farina said on WNYW’s “Good Day New York” on Friday that the city is looking into finding space to accommodate the students from the Success Academy charter school in Harlem.

Her comments were a change from earlier in the week when she said the students were “on their own.”

The Success Academy school was given space in a city building during former Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s administration.

Mayor Bill de Blasio reversed that decision last week.

Success Academy spokeswoman Kerri Lyon said school officials are glad to hear that Farina “has heard the pleas” of families who want their school to continue.
