Man convicted in the Brooklyn sexual assault of a 14-year old girl
Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson today announced the conviction of Cyril Cutting, 28, in the sexual assault of a 14 year-old girl in an East New York motel in 2012. Cutting was convicted on the top charge of Criminal Sexual Act in the Second Degree.
“Sexually assaulting a child is an utterly reprehensible act. When an adult abuses an innocent child, this type of crime demands that society send a swift and strong message that those who prey on children will be held accountable for their horrendous actions. We commend the jury for seeing that justice was done in this case,” said District Attorney Kenneth Thompson.
