Report: Brooklyn Nets valued at $1 billion

In just its second year in the borough, the Brooklyn Nets franchise is now valued at $1 billion, according to a report from the Sports Business Journal.
Brooklyn unveiled a new logo and new jerseys upon the team’s arrival from New Jersey in 2012 when they debuted at the brand new Barclays Center. The Nets are currently in the second round of the playoffs, where they trail the Miami Heat two games to one. Brooklyn next plays Miami on Monday night in Brooklyn.
