Personal letters read at Boerum Hill adoption event

Members of the adoption community gathered in Boerum Hill on Wednesday for a special event. Adult adoptees, adoptive parents, first parents, adoption activists and allies read personal letters to express different view points and collectively give voice and expand the adoption narrative.

The event was co-presented by Lost Lit and Land of Gazillion Adoptees. Lost Lit, a literary arts space that hosts general writing workshops and events, plans to offer specialized adoption writing workshops, since the founder Lynne Connor is a Korean Adoptee herself.
