The Nathan R. Sobel Kings County American Inn of Court celebrated its annual dinner and installation ceremony Monday, June 16 at Red Gravy restaurant in Brooklyn Heights. Cheryl Chambers, Associate Justice of the Appellate Division, 2nd Department, administered the oath of office.

Newly installed president David Chidekel gave warm regards to Chambers noting, “I will be for the Inn what Cheryl Chambers has been for decades: a mentor.” Chidekel also displayed his gratitude to outgoing president, Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Ellen Spodek. “Many of us appreciate Hon. Spodek for her leadership and intelligence, but her personality alone is enough,” he said.

To show gratitude for all of her work and dedication to the Inns, Inn administrator Lucinda Di Salvo was presented with a special gift from the Inn Masters.
