Fear not, foodies! Crumbs could be saved!
After closing all its store locations on Monday, including the popular joint on Montague Street, Crumbs Bake Shop could be getting a new lease on life.
An investor group led by Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis, who also hosts a show on CNBC, plans to invest into the company as a “prelude” to acquiring the popular chain, CNBC reports.
The company was delisted from the Nasdaq stock exchange last week, which led to its quick demise. But like the dough used in its famously delicious baked goods, it appears that Crumbs will rise again.
