Cheerful metal bicycle sculptures by famed Mexican artist and cycling enthusiast Gilberto Aceves Navarro, 83, are being installed in 10 locations across the city, with the help of the city’s departments of Transportation and Parks.

The installation shown here can be seen on the west side of Cadman Plaza Park in Downtown Brooklyn; another group is close by a Jay and Sands streets in DUMBO. The works can also be seen in Red Hook, Fort Greene and Park Slope.

All 122 pieces will be installed by July 9.
