Good morning, Brooklyn.  Today is the 255th day of the year.

ON THIS DAY in 1905, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle published an article titled “Police Search for Kelly, Motorman of L Train.” The article focused on an L train accident that took place within that week in 1905.  However, the incident took a turn as police were “sent out to arrest [the motorman] for homicide.”  The article also updated readers on the status of the injured from the crash.

“This afternoon, at Roosevelt Hospital, Manhattan, there were but 10 left of those injured yesterday in the ‘L’ catastrophe,” the Eagle reported.
