Onward and upward: Developer files plans for 65-story Downtown Brooklyn tower
Onward and upward in Downtown Brooklyn.
Real estate websites were buzzing Friday with news of the latest contender for Brooklyn’s tallest building.
JEMB Realty, which owns a parking lot at 420 Albee Square, filed plans Thursday with the city Buildings Department for a 65-story, 620-foot skyscraper at the site.
It would be a hair taller than the building that’s currently the borough’s tallest, glamorous apartment tower 388 Bridge St., and also Avalon Willoughby West, which is now under construction at 100 Willoughby St. Both buildings are located in Downtown Brooklyn.
