Filmmaker to share first novel in Brooklyn Heights
Groundbreaking filmmaker David Cronenberg, known for “History of Violence,” “The Fly” and “Crash,” is coming to St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights for the release party for his first novel, “Consumed,” on Oct. 2.
“Consumed” tells the story of two journalists whose entanglement in a French philosopher’s death becomes a surreal journey into global conspiracy.
At the free event, which is co-sponsored by BookCourt, Cronenberg will read from his book, answer audience questions and sign books. The reading begins at 7 p.m. at St. Francis College’s Founders Hall (180 Remsen St.).
