Brooklyn judge honored by Court Officers Association
At its 34th Annual Awards Dinner this past November, the New York State Supreme Court Officers Association honored a Brooklyn judge as its coveted Man of the Year Award.
Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Bruce Balter was chosen for the award in recognition of his “exemplary work throughout his legal avocation,” said Patrick Cullen, the association’s president.
Speaking with the Eagle, Balter said he was “very humbled” by the acknowledgement and appreciated the work of the officers he encounters while serving on the bench.
