NYC first lady part of new domestic violence awareness push
First lady Chirlane McCray is spearheading a new push to raise awareness of domestic violence in New York City.
The campaign started today. During October, which is National Domestic Violence month, all Chase Bank ATM screens will carry a message urging victims of domestic violence to seek help.
The ATM message will provide phone numbers that can be used to call for help.
McCray touted the public-private partnership and said she hoped it will “elevate the difficult conversation” about domestic violence.
