ISTANBUL — Funeral Held for Victims: A mourner holds a picture of Serdar Ben, 33, one of the victims of the Oct. 10 bombings in Ankara, during his funeral on Thursday. The banner reads: ‘ Communist Revolutionary Serdar Ben is immortal.’ The twin explosions in the capital ripped through a crowd of activists rallying for increased democracy and an end to violence between Kurdish rebels and Turkish security forces. It was the country’s deadliest attack in years.
