Slain Officer Randolph Holder’s fiancée says she hopes to launch a foundation in his name.

Mary Muhammad told WCBS-TV that the foundation would raise money to send unused police equipment to the police department in Holder’s home country of Guyana.

She said she finds herself waiting for Holder to come to the Brooklyn home they shared with Muhammad’s 12-year-old daughter.

But she says she’s trying not to dwell on the negative and is determined to make sure Holder didn’t die in vain.

On Sunday, police divers recovered a gun in the Harlem River believed to be the weapon used to kill Holder last week.

Tyrone Howard has been charged with murder and robbery in Holder’s death. His lawyer says there are many missing details in the case.
