Howard Fensterman, managing partner of the law firm Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Wolf, LLP, was honored by the Thomas Jefferson Democratic Club of Kings County for the law firm’s commitment to the people and businesses of Brooklyn.

Abrams Fensterman, with well-established offices in Manhattan, on Long Island and in Rochester, N.Y., expanded into Brooklyn approximately three years ago.   The firm opened an office at 1 MetroTech Center, headed by Frank Carone, a life-long resident of Brooklyn and a respected member of the borough’s legal and business community.

Fensterman announced at the function that Abrams Fensterman is close to signing a lease for 21,000 square feet of space and making the firm’s New York City headquarters in Brooklyn. Abrams Fensterman will be the first major law firm to announce that it is designating the firm’s Brooklyn office as its main base of NYC operations.

The honor, presented by Frank Seddio, chairman of the Kings County Democratic Committee and former Kings County surrogate, was presented at the Thomas Jefferson Democratic Club’s 60th annual Dinner Dance on Nov. 1, with Mayor Bill de Blasio, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and dozens of other distinguished guests in attendance.

Speaking at the El Caribe Country Club, Fensterman was eager to underscore his affection for Brooklyn and for the Thomas Jefferson Democratic Club. “Brooklyn is clearly one of the most robust communities on the planet,” Fensterman said.  “The excitement about the borough’s residential and commercial growth is felt throughout New York and across the United States.

“The constructive role played by so many members of the Thomas Jefferson Democratic Club is worthy of high praise and admiration. The Abrams Fensteman family of lawyers and staffers is proud to be part of this dynamic community. Being recognized by such a well-regarded organization is a great honor,” Fensterman concluded.
