BP Adams declares ‘Pamela Brier Day’ in Brooklyn
Elected Officials Pay Tribute to Brier’s Contributions to Health of New Yorkers
The Maimonides Medical Center board of trustees recently hosted a breakfast reception at the Brooklyn Borough Hall Rotunda celebrating Pamela Brier, outgoing president and CEO of Maimonides Medical Center, for the achievements under her leadership. The reception also included the welcoming of Kenneth Gibbs, current chairman of the board of trustees and incoming president and CEO.
Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams applauded Brier’s contributions and accomplishments in bringing world-class health care to Brooklyn, and proclaimed Dec. 4 “Pamela Brier Day.” Brier was also presented with a proclamation from the City Council.
Many elected officials attended the event to give thanks to Brier and wish her well in her future endeavors, including state Sens. Simcha Felder and Daniel Squadron; Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon; and Councilmembers Mathieu Eugene, Vincent Gentile, David Greenfield, Brad Lander and Stephen Levin.
