Junior League of Brooklyn events help at-risk women and families
The Junior League of Brooklyn (JLB) continues to show its commitment to helping at-risk women, children and families throughout Brooklyn during March, which is Women’s History month.
The JLB, founded in 1910, is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteering, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
“It’s beyond rewarding to be a part of an organization with such rich history and commitment to Brooklyn today,” said Letitia Graham, president of the JLB.
The organization will be hosting several events in March and April devoted to the betterment of the community.
