Brooklyn Today
ON THIS DAY in 1908, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle published an article titled “Killed on Brooklyn Bridge.”
The article focused on a trackman who was hit by street cars on the Brooklyn Bridge.
“Stefano Colluico, aged 40 years … who was employed as a trackman on the Brooklyn Rapid Transit lines on the Brooklyn Bridge, was ground under two cars on the south roadway of the bridge…” the Eagle reported.
