Police seeking Borough Park bank robber

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance locating a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted bank robbery in Brooklyn’s Borough Park’s 66th Precinct last month.

The suspect entered a Citi Bank at 5420 13th Ave. near 55th Street at 4:51 p.m. on Feb. 26, according to NYPD, where he handed a note to the bank teller demanding money. 

The teller did not comply, however, and the suspect fled empty handed.

The suspect is described as a white male who is approximately 25 years-old, 5’11” with a slim build.  He was last seen wearing a black ski cap, black sunglasses and a dark colored backpack.
