NEW HAMPSHIRE — Ice Covers Rock at Mount Washington Summit: In this March 10 photo, rime ice covers rocks on the summit of Mount Washington. Rime ice occurs when freezing fog hits stationary objects in frigid conditions.

GERMANY — Worker Checks Quality of Different Colored Eggs: A worker checks the quality of colored eggs at the Baumeister Frischei (fresh egg) company in Breckerfeld on Tuesday. One-Hundred Thousand colored boiled eggs leave the egg paint factory every day. Baumeister eggs are well known for their different and difficult paintings. Painted eggs are common in Christian traditions during Easter.

ITALY — Italian Flag-Colored Smoke Trails Paint Skyline: Smoke trails in the colors of the Italian national flag are released by The “Frecce Tricolori” Italian Air Force acrobatic squad as they flew over Rome on Tuesday to mark the 154th anniversary of the Italian Unification in 1861.
