Kids custom make their own Easter bonnets
Students and teachers at St. Patrick Catholic Academy in Bay Ridge got a jump on Easter Sunday by participating in the annual Easter Hat Parade in the school auditorium on March 31.
Everyone could take part in the parade, as long as they were wearing a custom-made hat!
A fun twist on traditional bonnets, the hats worn by the kids were tributes to the Easter season and were decorated with eggs, marshmallows, flashing lights, church replicas, religious messages, bunny ears and just about anything else the creative kids could think of to fit on top of their heads.
