Maimonides trustee wins United Hospital Fund award
Maimonides Medical Center was front and center at a recent awards luncheon held by the United Hospital Fund, as one of its board members was honored.
Jack Hidary, a member of the board of trustees at Maimonides Medical Center, was among the winners of the Distinguished Trustee Awards presented by the United Hospital Fund (UHF) at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on May 11. The award honors individuals for their leadership and service in the field of health care.
Kenneth Gibbs, chairman of the Maimonides Board of Trustees, co-chaired the UHF luncheon, which was attended by more than 600 health care professionals. Pamela Brier, Maimonides president and CEO, was also on hand to congratulate Hidary on receiving the award.
Hidary is chairman of Hidrock Realty, a family-owned commercial real estate company founded in 1982. He is a graduate of Pace University’s Lubin School of Business, and serves as a trustee for both the Community Burial Society and Maimonides Medical Center.
