Catholic Lawyers Guild marks end of the year with annual awards dinner
The Catholic Lawyers Guild Diocese of Brooklyn, Kings County Chapter, said goodbye to its president, inducted new officers and honored six others during its 41st annual awards dinner at Gargiulo’s in Coney Island Thursday night.
“It’s been a truly wonderful year with great events and charity work,” President Joseph Rosato said. “Now we get a chance to reflect on it and recognize some truly special honorees that have meant a lot to the Catholic Lawyers Guild. Each one has distinguished themselves in the service of others. That’s what’s really important and what this night is about.”
This year’s honorees included Hon. Frank R. Seddio, who received the St. Thomas More Award; Hon. Sandra L. Sgroi, recipient of the President’s Award; Hon. Matthew J. D’Emic, recipient of the Distinguished Judiciary Award; Hon. Mark I. Partnow, who received the Ecumenical Award; Gregory T. Cerchione, recipient of the Hon. William T. Bellard Award; and Frank A. Composto, who received special recognition.
