Rolling Stone names Brooklyn-based band Vajra a ‘must-see act’
Vajra's 'Blind (Blood Mix)' in The World's First E-Novel With Music
Rolling Stone named alt-prog rockers Vajra a “Must See Act,” along with crowd favorites Linkin Park, Rob Zombie, Weezer, Hoobastank, and others at the Loudwire Music Festival. The festival takes place June 26 to 28 at Jam Ranch outside Grand Junction, CO, for three days and nights of rock music.
Vajra’s music is hauntingly dark and hypnotic, weaving Eastern Indian themes with melodic, progressive rock, creating foreboding and mysterious lullabies.
Vajra’s “Blind (Blood Mix)” was selected to be part of the first interactive music storytelling project distributed for free via bittorrent bundle. The book, “H8 Society – How an Atomic Fart Saved the World” is a dark, nonstop comedy that explores the struggle of love vs. hate, on a global scale, through the lens of two rival gangs that are caught in an apocalyptic American dream.
