Roberta’s brings a slice of Brooklyn to the Penn Station area
Attention Midtown South office workers: Don’t let the tourists take all the terrific pizza.
On your harried commutes through Penn Station, you might not have noticed that Roberta’s, a pizza maker much loved by Brooklyn foodies, has set up shop right under your noses.
An outdoor outpost of Roberta’s, complete with a portable wood-fired oven, arrived earlier this month in a pedestrian plaza running between W. 33rd and W. 34th streets, parallel to Seventh Avenue. It’s a stone’s throw away from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.
