Greetings, Brooklyn. Today is the 187th day of the year.

ON THIS DAY IN 1925 the Brooklyn Daily Eagle published an article titled “Finds Women’s Lingerie Buried in His Garden.”

The article focused on a man finding stolen items hidden in his flower bed.

“…he discovered a box containing women’s silk shirts, two pairs of women’s silk bloomers, 12 radio tubes, two sets of head telephones, receivers and a quantity of wire,” the Eagle reported.
