Xaverian HS wrapped in gold ribbon by students
Teenagers wrapped yards and yards of ribbon around their Bay Ridge school, but it wasn’t a youthful prank.
These kids were serious.
Students from both Xaverian High school’s middle school program, Genesis, and their high school friends from Xaverian joined forces to “Go Gold” on Sept. 16.
Members of the Genesis Student Leadership Council enthusiastically led the “Go Gold” effort at Xaverian High School at 7100 Shore Road, cutting more than 400 yards of gold ribbon and working together with the high school students to hang the ribbon around the exterior of the school to raise awareness of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
