Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg among honorees at Four Freedoms Awards
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a Brooklyn native, is among four people who have been awarded the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Awards.
The awards were presented Tuesday night in New York City.
The other winners were Dance Theatre of Harlem founder Arthur Mitchell, North Carolina NAACP President Rev. Dr. William Barber III and Dr. Olufunmilayo Olopade, who helped diagnose and treat breast cancer in underserved patients.
