Brooklyn’s oldest community chorus to celebrate 60th anniversary
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the Brooklyn Philharmonia Chorus, the borough’s oldest community chorus, is looking for new singers for the spring 2016 concert.
The chorus is holding open auditions for all voice parts beginning Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., and also taking place on Tuesdays, Feb. 2, 9 and 16 at First Presbyterian Church, 124 Henry St. in Brooklyn Heights.
“We are singing selections of our ‘greatest hits’ and welcome anyone who has an interest in singing the Great Composers, and more, in joining us,” said Choral Director Doug March.
