Brooklyn Heights residents Lucille Dandridge and Daniela Gioseffi are teaming up to present an evening of jazz at the McKinney Chapel of First Unitarian Church.

Pianist Dandridge is a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church of Brooklyn, where she has helped foster jazz vespers. Gioseffi is a vocalist and member of the First Unitarian Universalist Congregational Society of Brooklyn’s choir, which holds monthly “Jazz Sundays.”

Dandridge is the founder of Lute Enterprises, which strives to manage “All Music Matters — All That Matters in Music.” One of the Lute’s visions is to help artists who are progressing from student status to professional performer status and help those who have been performing at one level move to the next level of performance and professionalism.

Lute Enterprises will produce this event on Friday, Oct. 28. It will feature performances of time-honored jazz classics. Several artists will perform, and there will also be a few surprises, organizers said.
