St. Anselm students to send supplies, love to Haiti
Bay Ridge school holds hurricane relief drive
When students at a Bay Ridge Catholic school heard about the path of destruction Hurricane Matthew spread across Haiti in October, they decided to do something to help the victims.
Members of the student government at St. Anselm Catholic Academy organized a collection drive to benefit the victims of Hurricane Matthew.
The Category 4 hurricane killed hundreds of people in Haiti when it hit in early October.
Students at St. Anselm Catholic Academy invited parents, teachers and the surrounding community to donate toiletries, feminine hygiene products, blankets, aqua tabs for water purification, clothing and new undergarments to the relief effort.
