The Greenpoint YMCA, which recently received a $10,000 donation from Investors Bank, will be using the money to make a big splash.

The contribution will be used to support the “Y’s” swimming lessons, which are provided during afterschool programs, according to officials, who said the funds will also go toward an early childhood education program.

The donation was presented by a group of Investors Bank representatives who attended the Greenpoint YMCA’s Spirit of Community Service Award Dinner at the Giando on the Water restaurant.
