Barclays’ new bar ‘Taste NY’ to feature local products

Empire State Development, the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets and Barclays Center announced on Thursday that a new bar at Barclays Center will feature local New York state products during events.

The bar is part of the Taste NY program, which Gov. Andrew Cuomo launched in 2013 to promote New York’s food and beverage industries. This program is run by the Department of Agriculture and Markets.  

Attending Thursday’s launch were Empire State Development President, CEO and Commissioner Howard Zemsky; New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Commissioner Richard A. Ball; and Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment.
