Surprise! An art show pops up for one afternoon in DUMBO
Art is long, and Time is fleeting. So goes the famous Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poem.
In this case, though, the art came and went in a flash.
Sculptures made of bits of an old bicycle and other found objects appeared, to the surprise of passersby on Jay Street Saturday, in the vast black-topped DUMBO space known as Bridge Park II.
These pieces by Brian Fernandes-Halloran were on display just for the afternoon in a stealth exhibition the Brooklyn artist organized, which included works by other artists as well.
